Nice cashier and staff Now that West Hill Hardware this seems like the only old time hardware place left which I think is true at least in this part of town Smells just like a real old time store and has an actual hardwood floor in the oldest area of the building The man that waited on me was very helpful and was pleasant and seemed to care about my needs So A++++ and a Five star rating They were the only place I have dealt with this week that actually answers the phone!!

Great little hometown hardware store. Should have everything you need for residential projects. And many things for commercial ones too. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about products

I really love this hardware store! The employees are friendly and always helpful. They always go above and beyond in helping me find what I need and offer good advice. I never have to wait for help or walk miles around a store trying to figure out what's where. Another neat thing about this store, they offer some of the old-time candy! And it's not ridiculously expensive.

This isn't exactly a recent review. I used to own 811 Hunt Street. As a single woman trying to do my own home repairs, I visited Swan Hardware often. I have such fond memories of the staff. I specifically remember a time when my bathtub had a drip. I went in to Swan, and a nice gentleman told me exactly what to do, loaned me the tool that I needed to remove and replace the worn tap washer. . What a gem. I'm thrilled that they are still in business, even though I now live in New Zealand. God bless that man!

Very helpful owners and staff! I love this store. You don't have to look for anything on your own. Tell them what you are doing and they take you to what you need. Plus give advice on doing it right if you're not sure.

They have been around for eighty years. The people there are very knowledgeable. The amount of hardware in that store will blow your mind. They sell and repair Senix Lawnmowers and honor their warranty. Old fashioned customer service with modern parts and supplies.

This store has been here forever... they always seem to have everything I need even little weird screws or bolts... they have everything from screws and bolts to plumbing, handles for doors and cabinets, paints and repair materials, almost anything you can think of hardware store related. They also sharpen mower blades and I have heard they have a mower shop that can fix a lawnmower (in warmer seasons obviously) Also they make keys. The people who work here are awesome. Always friendly and helpful.

My go to place for years all through the 80's and 90"s when I lived on Bertha Avenue. Always had the best help and products that other places did not. Including the drain enforcer to clean out the old drum traps. It worked overnight when all the well known products did nothing. The fact that they are still there speaks volumes. Most friendly and helpful staff that none of the large chains had. Products that nobody heard of cost effective and easily explained.
